Over the course of my career, I have found that the complex conversations that contributed to the development of these new technologies contained an enormous amount of unrecoverable information and ideas.  The content-rich conversations that my team and I participated in were inherently short-lived in the sense that once an idea was stated, it was lost unless someone had captured it on paper or committed it to memory.  Most of us know from experience how easily hand-written notes are interpreted, and human memory is far from accurate.

The foundation of my current venture, Cogi (www.cogi.com), was innovative in the sense that it brings the spoken word into the modern day world.  By preserving what was said in the form of recordings, taking digital notes effortlessly, and making our important words searchable, archiveable, and sharable, Cogi makes conversations more useful.  This is potentially useful for anyone who has content-rich conversations.  Take a look at our recent Quick History of Cogi for more on the inspiration behind Cogi.
